We chose our two dairy sheep today. I spent over an hour trying to make friends with two of the fourteen I had to choose from. It was important to have sheep that are not too afraid of me since they will be lambing in May and will have to trust me. Also, we will be milking them, and I want them nice and easy to handle.
We will be getting them in one week. That means we will need the door up on the sheep shed, a temporary fence up, and our little trailer in livable condition so we can stay close by.
We don't have electricity yet, but we are working on that.
